The program is open to grades Pre-K to 6th grade, generally ages 3-12.

What time of the year does this program run?
Jamestown only offers fall recreational soccer that typically runs the first week of September through October

Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Practices are usually once a week and scheduled by the coach towards the start of the season.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
The season lasts 7-8 weeks and games are played on Saturday mornings.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Jerseys are provided as part of the registration fee.
Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment do I need?
All kids are expected to have shin guards during both games and practices. Cleats and a ball are optional but highly recommended. Pre-K through 1st Grade use size 3 ball. 2nd Grade through 6th Grade use size 4 ball.
My child has never played soccer before, is that ok?
Yes. Our program is designed to allow players of all levels to participate
When will I find out what team my child is on?
Teams are usually assigned the last two weeks of August.
Can my son/daughter be placed on a specific team?
No, unfortunately we cannot accommodate special requests.
2024 Rec Soccer
2024 FALL RECREATION Soccer
The 2024 Fall Recreational Soccer Season will start on Saturday, September 7, 2024 and run through October 26, 2024. (No Games Columbus Day weekend)
The schedule will be finalized once we have the teams set. Games will start at 9am on Saturday mornings.
Early Bird Registration $85 (by August 3, 2024)
Regular Registration $110 (after August 3, 2024)
